Job Title: Electrophysiologist Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Flagstaff, AZ Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Apr 27, 2026 – Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: 7:00a – 5:00p (10 -hour shifts with 1 -hour lunch) COVERAGE DATES Apr 27 – May 1, 2026 May 4 – 8, 2026 May 26 – 29, 2026 Jun 8 – 12, 2026 Jun 15 – 19, 2026 Jun 29 – Jul 3, 2026 Jul 6 – 10, 2026 Jul 20 – 24, 2026 Aug 31 – Sep 4, 2026 Sep 14 – 18, 2026 Sep 21 – 25, 2026 Sep 28 – Oct 2, 2026 Oct 5 – 9, 2026 Oct 13 – 16, 2026 Nov 2 – 6, 2026 Nov 23 – 25, 2026 Nov 30 – Dec 4, 2026 Dec 21 – 24, 2026 Dec 28 – 31, 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Patient Volume/Census: 20 – 22 patients per day Admissions: Yes (hospital consults) Rounding: Included Case Mix: Cardiac electrophysiology, heart rhythm disorders FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 268 Trauma Level: Level I–IV EMR System: Cerner Office Equipment Available: Abbott Ensite -X Mapping System Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered per facility guidelines REQUIRED PROCEDURES Cardiac electrophysiology procedures Left -sided ablations Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) Moderate sedation EP case management and consults JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active AZ License (IMLC accepted; willing to license) Board: BC/BE in Electrophysiology DEA: Active DEA required Certifications: ACLS required Experience: Minimum 1 year; must demonstrate recent EP case logs (100 cases in last 2 years preferred) Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Abbott Ensite -X system; comfortable performing moderate sedation independently DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform electrophysiology procedures including ablations Manage inpatient consults and outpatient clinic patients Interpret diagnostic studies and develop treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiac care teams Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Requirements

• Active AZ License (IMLC accepted; willing to license)
• BC/BE in Electrophysiology
• Active DEA required
• ACLS required
• Minimum 1 year; must demonstrate recent EP case logs (100 cases in last 2 years preferred)
• Proficiency with Abbott Ensite -X system
• comfortable performing moderate sedation independently

Responsibilities

• Perform electrophysiology procedures including ablations
• Manage inpatient consults and outpatient clinic patients
• Interpret diagnostic studies and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiac care teams
