About The Position

Seeking an electrophysiologist to join a well-established cardiology group with 3 EP's and 10+ cardiologists. Clinical responsibilities involve a wide mix of inpatient and outpatient work. The hospital services over 250,000 residents and offers comprehensive cardiac services, adult ICU beds, a 24-hour ER, Pediatrics, Oncology, Heart Transplantation, Inpatient/Outpatient Surgery, and a Diabetes Treatment Center. Indiana is ranked as one of the nation's top "physician friendly" states with low cost malpractice coverage, capped malpractice claims, low managed care, and affordable cost of living.

Requirements

• Board certified or eligible in Electrophysiology.
• Interest and competence in complex ablation.
• Interest and competence in lead extractions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with epicardial VT ablations.
• Experience with LA appendage exclusion devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex ablation procedures.
• Perform lead extractions.
• Perform epicardial VT ablations.
• Perform LA appendage exclusion device procedures.
• Manage a mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities.
• Participate in EP-only call, shared equally 1:4 among EP's.
