About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Mishawaka, IN. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient clinical duties, focusing on electrophysiology procedures. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call requirements. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of post-residency experience and be board-certified in Cardiology with an active IN license or eligibility.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Cardiology
- Active IN license, IMLC or eligibility to apply
- Minimum 5 years post-residency experience
- Completed fellowship in Cardiology/EP
Responsibilities
- Perform EP procedures including ablations, ICD implantations, pacemaker insertions, cardioversions, and TEEs.
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient care for adult and geriatric patients.
- Manage a patient volume of approximately 5 inpatients and 15–20 clinic patients per day.
- Collaborate with support staff and utilize Epic EMR for documentation.
- Maintain a no-call schedule with weekday clinic and hospital rounding.
