The Electronics Worker II is responsible for assembling, disassembling, reworking, and repairing various electronic assemblies, including surface mount and through-hole printed circuit card assemblies, flex circuits, sub-assemblies, and electro-mechanical assemblies. This role involves performing highly skilled soldering and desoldering of fine pitch components, executing modifications and upgrades, and interpreting production documents. The worker may also assemble cabinets and chassis, operate specialized machinery, and perform intermediate assembly tasks such as conformal coating and potting. Additionally, the role includes performing self-checks, assisting other classifications, collecting data for SPC, and training less experienced workers.
