About The Position

The Electronics Test Technician is an integral part of our production team; they are responsible for verifying the product meets all functional requirements per the document specification, ensuring that all work and components meet rigorous quality standards, and completing configuration and calibration of product. Additionally, the Test Technician is key in supporting technical issues that arise with the support of Engineering. Also, aides in training team members on performing verification, configuration, and calibration. A successful Test Technician has a keen attention to detail and supports others in the shop and throughout the company, both technically and as teammates.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to read and follow schematics, drawings, procedures, etc.
  • Computer (Windows PC) competency in word processing and spreadsheets
  • High attention to detail
  • Technically minded solving problems with equipment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced performance driven environment where quality is critical
  • Enjoys working with their hands
  • Able to work together on a team
  • The ability to follow verbal and written procedures, good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and listen to others
  • Safety and quality minded, pays attention to details

  • This position may require access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). To comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants will be asked to provide specific documentation to verify a US person’s status under the ITAR and the EAR.

Responsibilities

  • Follows shop safety requirements and other relevant policies
  • In process configuration, calibration, and verification on equipment
  • Performs functional and mechanical check outs as necessary
  • Completes production paperwork to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Supports Engineering and Test development as needed
  • Supports improvement of Test equipment and procedures
  • Communicates, discusses, and listens to challenges with management, teammates, etc.
  • Supports problem solving activities for technical issues
  • Develops and trains other team members
