About The Position
In this role, the successful candidate will assemble, test, troubleshoot and repair monitoring devices utilized by power utilities, heavy industry and electrical transmission & distribution operations worldwide
Requirements
- Minimum 2 Year College Diploma
- Must be fluent in English.
- Use of standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMM’s and signal generators.
- Ability to read electronic schematics
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, excel outlook ETC)
- Read and understand drawing and assembly procedures.
- General mechanical aptitude/assembly experience is an asset.
Nice To Haves
- 2/3 Yrs. Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technician / Technology
- 2 Yrs. Post Graduate Electronic Troubleshooting and repair experience.
- 2 Yrs. Post Graduate Electronic Manufacturing/Production experience.
Responsibilities
- Complete manufacturing assembly tasks per required specification
- Create required drawings, schematics, assembly and test procedures
- Inspect soldering of circuit boards. Testing of circuit boards & Instrumentation/Products.
- Carry out the trouble-shooting/repair of “out of specification” products.
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of instruments, cables, components, as demand requires.
- High Voltage Testing of Components and Instrumentation.
- Ensure quality of products at all levels.
- Ensures OTD (On Time Delivery) of Products Manufactured
- Ensure that the work instructions are accurate and well maintained.
- Participates in Troubleshooting meetings and helps to maintain Repair PCB Board levels.
