About The Position

This position is critical to the success of our engineering and production teams and will be supporting the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and modification of electronic components, reporting directly to Eduardo Sayers. The ideal candidate for this position should be technically proficient, have a strong background in electronics assembly and testing, and possess excellent problem-solving and manual dexterity skills. Experience working with small components, interpreting technical diagrams, and using standard test equipment is highly preferred. The position of Electronics Technician will be responsible for the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of developmental and production electronic components. During the course of a standard workday, you will be expected to follow engineering instructions, operate hand and power tools, document test results, and support prototype development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in electronics assembly, testing, or related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Experience using standard test equipment and hand/power tools.
  • Must be able to work with small components requiring manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with a team-oriented attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to be flexible with changing priorities and tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary point of contact for component assembly and testing tasks.
  • Build, assemble, and test electronic components according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and diagrams.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic components using standard test equipment.
  • Document and record data on testing techniques, performance results, and specifications.
  • Procure materials and parts, and maintain inventory and related documentation.
  • Build prototypes from rough sketches or plans.
  • Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
  • Work closely with engineering staff to support development and production needs.
  • May be asked to perform other duties as required by company representatives.
