About The Position

Intervala is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician on 2nd shift to support the production of high-quality electronic assemblies for a major defense customer. This role involves troubleshooting, testing, and hands-on work with electronics in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the production of printed circuit boards. Requirements

  • Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and test equipment
  • Experience using digital multimeters and other diagnostic tools
  • Ability to read schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume setting
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years experience troubleshooting printed circuit boards to component level

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certificate or associate degree in electronics preferred

Responsibilities

  • Test electronic and electromechanical assemblies to meet quality and workmanship standards
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues at the subassembly level
  • Perform functional testing using tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test equipment
  • Take voltage measurements and analyze results
  • Use interactive software for testing and diagnostics
  • Accurately document test results, repairs, and quality findings
  • Follow customer specifications, ISO standards, and internal procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work environment
