We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. This role involves assembling and testing electric motors, power electronics, cable harnesses, and battery modules. The Technician will work closely with design engineering, test engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure the highest standards of performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience, or equivalent training, certifications, or education, in aerospace assembly or testing practices, including quality standards and travelers.
  • Proficiency in electronics assembly and rework per IPC standards, including soldering and testing.
  • Strong mechanical assembly skills, including attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., move heavy pallets with a pallet jack, and stand for long periods.
  • Applicants must be willing and able to commute to magniX's location in Everett, Washington.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of safety protocols around rotating machinery and high voltage systems.
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar software preferred.
  • IPC-A-610, 620 Certification
  • J-STD-001 Certification
  • Experience operating forklifts, cranes, and company vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electric motors, power electronics, cable harnesses, and battery modules according to aerospace engineering drawings and quality standards.
  • Perform electronics assembly and rework per IPC standards, including soldering and testing.
  • Set up, commission, and operate tests in dynamometer and propeller test cells.
  • Assemble and modify tooling fixtures, test equipment, and engineering prototypes using a spectrum of fabrication tools and equipment.
  • Assist in engineering troubleshooting and resolve assembly and test issues as needed.
  • Operate forklifts, cranes, and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, especially those related to rotating machinery and high voltage systems.
