About The Position

TSC is seeking an Electronics Technician located in our Huntsville, AL to support our production division. This role involves building and troubleshooting electronic assemblies, test stations, and wiring harnesses for R&D or Production needs. The technician will diagnose and resolve issues in both RF and digital systems, log and collect test data, and collaborate with peers to identify trends and drive continuous improvement. The position requires working closely with Technical Leads and Engineering to implement process enhancements and communicating proactively with management and team members. Responsibilities also include setting up, calibrating, and validating test systems, and presenting findings to stakeholders. Adaptability in a dynamic manufacturing environment is key, with the ability to respond effectively to shifting priorities and production demands.

Requirements

  • Associate degree related to aerospace or electronics and at least 1 year of production and/or assembly experience or a bachelor’s degree in engineering Focused on soldering, cable building, prototypes assembly.
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of electrical tools and equipment; crimpers, dies, multimeter, presses, connectors, contacts, wire gauges/types, soldering, etc.
  • Ability to assemble cables and wiring harness for test or debug units or test racks
  • Ability to solder, rework, and repair according to IPC Standards

Responsibilities

  • Build and/or troubleshoot electronic assemblies, test station, wiring harness for R&D or Production needs to support product reliability, throughput or debug, while diagnosing and resolving issues in both RF and digital systems.
  • Log and collect test data, collaborating with peers to identify trends and drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
  • Work closely with Technical Leads and Engineering to implement process enhancements.
  • Communicate proactively with management and team members to align on goals and improve throughput.
  • Set up, calibrate, and validate test systems to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
  • Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Remain adaptable in a dynamic manufacturing environment, responding effectively to shifting priorities and production demands.
