About The Position

As part of the facilities department, the Instrumentation Technician performs installations, scheduled maintenance, repairs, calibration and safety inspections of electronic, mechanical, information and communication equipment and systems. Work assigned ranges from moderate to advance in difficulty, in some cases requiring specialized and/or advanced training. The Technician works under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager and coordinates work with other caregivers within the department. The Technician prioritizes duties to ensure a minimum of operational downtime and maximize the efficient use of equipment. Some work may be performed by contractors under the supervision of the electronics technician. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Electronics or equivalent education/experience.
  • Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving.
  • Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
  • 5 years installation and maintenance of electronic equipment experience.
