About The Position

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) system engineering and information technology firm, headquartered in Maryland and Virginia. Incorporated in 1999, we support mission critical Information Technology (IT) business needs for clients within the intelligence community (IC), Department of Defense (DOD), Veteran Administration (VA) and for select commercial clients. ACET, Inc.’s technical, programmatic, and analytical professionals are experts in commercial technology, customized solutions, and proprietary government systems. ACET is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance II at our MCAS Camp Pendelton Site.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 1-3 years rotary wing aviation experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate
  • U.S Citizen and must pass a background check and be able to obtain and maintain a Common access card.
  • Must meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.
  • Demonstrate an operational knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, engines and component parts.
  • Must be familiar with operational capabilities and limitations of electrical/avionics systems.
  • Able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, technical manuals, and use measuring instruments, gauges, tools, and test equipment.
  • Knowledge of the proper use of hand tools in aircraft maintenance.
  • Able to read and write, and interpret and comply with aircraft maintenance procedures, manuals, specifications, and directives, guides and forms used on the job.
  • Must show proficiency in the use of OOMA after assignment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of standard military terminations
  • Ability to read and interpret block and schematic diagrams
  • Experience with wire routing and clamping
  • Applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems and perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions
  • Interprets manufacturers’ manuals and similar technical documents
  • Demonstrates familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits
  • Exercises judgment in planning work sequences
  • Selects appropriate tools, testing instruments, and methods for assigned tasks
  • Replaces components and wire circuits
  • Repairs simple electronic equipment
  • Takes test readings using common electronic test instruments
  • Uses digital multimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes
  • Works under immediate or close supervision with technical guidance from a supervisor or higher-level technician as needed
  • Ensures work accuracy and compliance with accepted practices and standards through frequent inspections and reviews
