About The Position

The Electronics Technician Maintenance III/Lead provides technical support to multiple devices under the Warfighter Training & Readiness Solutions (WTRS) Contract. The Electronics Technician III/Lead position will perform all functions required to Maintain and repair electronic WTRS and equipment for the Advanced Gunnery Training System (AGTS), Bradley Conduct of Fire (COFT) & TTT. Utilize spare/repair parts to address faults and perform preventative maintenance in accordance with technical guidelines. Research and select necessary repair parts. Enter work order data accurately and timely into the online management information system. Apply technical knowledge to solve routine electrical, mechanical, and computer issues by interpreting manufacturers' manuals and schematic drawings. Perform inventory of spare/repair parts in accordance with contractual guidelines. Supervise, provide direction/guidance, and check lower-level technicians’ work. Ensure all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Provide technical support and training to system operators. Other duties as assigned. This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS Locations.

Requirements

  • B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology from an accredited university and 10 years of experience, Master’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology and 5 years of experience, Or 14+ Years of Experience in lieu of Degree
  • Proven Experience leading a team
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and On-Post driving privileges
  • Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
