This role involves the teardown, cleaning, and preparation of electronic controls and assemblies. The primary duties include disassembling electronic controls, scraping labels, cleaning, and polishing them. The technician will also be responsible for identifying different makes and models of electronic controls, recognizing worn or burnt PCBs, and identifying damaged cases and housing. Additionally, the role involves preparing good parts for bench technicians and assemblers, maintaining an inventory of rebuildable parts, keeping the work area clean and organized, and contributing to a safe work environment. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
