Join our maintenance team as an Electronics System Technician, also known at LYNX as a Technician B, and put your troubleshooting and repair skills to work on the technology that keeps our transit system moving. In this hands-on role, you will inspect, diagnose, test, maintain, and repair a variety of electronic systems and components used on LYNX buses and support vehicles. You'll work with systems such as digital surveillance equipment, destination signs, two-way radios, APC, PLC, CAD/AVL, fare collection systems, and other onboard electronic and electrical-control systems. Using diagnostics and testing equipment, you'll identify system failures, perform repairs and adjustments, and help ensure equipment operates safely and reliably. This is a great opportunity for an electronics technician who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working with a variety of electronic technologies in a fast-paced transit environment. This position is considered safety-sensitive and subject to the provisions of the Substance Abuse Program Policy for Safety Sensitive Positions.
