OVERVIEW: The Electronic Service Technician is responsible for installing and repairing electronic equipment on boats at their location and at off site locations and marinas. KEY TASKS: Install electronics on vessels Accurately diagnose and repair electronics Safely operate customer vessel during diagnostic water testing Ensure all warranty repairs are completed according to manufacturers and MarineMax guidelines Inspect boats, prepare and itemize estimate listing parts and labor Complete repair work utilizing service scheduler and SSO’s within the established timeframe Maintain and secure inventory and tools on company vehicles at all times Ensure customer satisfaction by arriving for service calls in a timely manner and presenting a professional picture of MarineMax Follow-up with customer to ensure complete satisfaction Maintain effective communication with the service and parts departments Ensure professional and clean appearance of company vehicles Safely operate company vehicle and remain within posted speed limits Maintain a safe driving record Other duties as assigned KEY RESULT AREAS: Internal/External Customer satisfaction/FANS Minimum number of comebacks Timely and accurate completion of work Professional Appearance of company tools and vehicles Error-free work orders Effective communication with other MarineMax departments MarineMax and its subsidiaries uses E-Verify, an Internet-based system, to confirm the eligibility of all newly hired employees to work in the United States.
