Electronics Service Technician

About The Position
OVERVIEW: The Electronic Service Technician is responsible for installing and repairing electronic equipment on boats at their location and at off site locations and marinas.
Responsibilities
- Install electronics on vessels
- Accurately diagnose and repair electronics
- Safely operate customer vessel during diagnostic water testing
- Ensure all warranty repairs are completed according to manufacturers and MarineMax guidelines
- Inspect boats, prepare and itemize estimate listing parts and labor
- Complete repair work utilizing service scheduler and SSO’s within the established timeframe
- Maintain and secure inventory and tools on company vehicles at all times
- Ensure customer satisfaction by arriving for service calls in a timely manner and presenting a professional picture of MarineMax
- Follow-up with customer to ensure complete satisfaction
- Maintain effective communication with the service and parts departments
- Ensure professional and clean appearance of company vehicles
- Safely operate company vehicle and remain within posted speed limits
- Maintain a safe driving record
- Other duties as assigned
