About The Position

Primary duties will include but not be limited to the repair and/or calibration of Industrial Controls, such as industrial grade PCBs, timers, counters, PLCs, drives, monitors, and temperature & process controls. Experience in the servo and/or robotics industry is a plus. Additionally, the role involves testing the functionality of each repaired unit, ordering necessary parts, and updating the computer system with repair steps. Technicians are required to perform repairs down to the component level, utilizing strong soldering and troubleshooting skills. The use of test equipment like oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and function generators, along with test fixtures, is crucial to ensure complete and proper repair. The position requires the ability to work in a team environment and computer literacy.

Requirements

  • Must understand the repair of Industrial Controls cycle; ability to understand the Radwell International repair of Industrial Controls cycle.
  • Strong technical skills; ability to learn and understand Radwell repair of Industrial Controls processes and procedures.
  • Required to bring your own tools as specified by the hiring manager.
  • Strong computer proficiency.

  • One to Three years of related experience and/or training.

  • Experience in servo and/or robotics industry.
  • Technical School Certification preferred.
  • Technical or Industrial product knowledge a plus.
  • Technical School Certification (related field) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bench-level electronic and electro-mechanical repair tasks using industry-standard troubleshooting, repair, and soldering skills.
  • Document actions taken on each item and communicate completions, obstacles, and concerns.
  • Verify part numbers on all units processed.
  • Inspect, clean, and test all units.
  • Isolate unit failures.
  • Perform repair of all units.
  • Properly use shop assets and test fixtures.
  • Perform power and diagnostic testing of all units.
  • Programming tasks.
  • Support quality methods, processes, and procedures.
  • Support and improve the quality of the final product.
  • Support the development of capabilities.
  • Process pre-evaluation units to 'RTS' (Ready to Sell) condition.
  • Proper handling and labeling on all units.
  • Effective time management and prioritization of work.
  • Proper use of IT systems.
  • Provide own hand/power tools.
