About The Position

This role is for an Electronics Quality Inspector at a contract electronics manufacturer that produces printed circuit board assemblies, cable assemblies, and box builds. The inspector will perform final inspection of PCB assemblies under a microscope against IPC-A-610 standards, identifying and documenting defects before product ships. Responsibilities include logging findings in the company's quality system, scanning work orders, and recording defect types. The inspector will collaborate with the Production Manager and a small inspection team to resolve quality issues. The work environment is ISO 9001:2015 certified and ITAR registered, serving the aerospace and defense, semiconductor equipment, biomedical, and industrial controls industries. This is a contract to possible permanent role with a long-term need.

Requirements

• IPC-A-610 certification
• Experience performing visual inspection of printed circuit board assemblies
• Familiarity with surface mount and through-hole assembly defects
• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance
• Must be eligible for work in an ITAR environment

Nice To Haves

• IPC/WHMA-A-620 or J-STD-001 certification
