About The Position

As the Electronics Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing and production of aerospace UAS composite components. You will lead a team of technicians and ensure the highest quality standards are met while adhering to safety protocols and project timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience in aerospace composites manufacturing will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in aerospace composites manufacturing, with a strong understanding of composite materials, layup techniques, curing processes, and quality control.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, demonstrating the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to aerospace composites manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of technicians in the manufacturing and production of aerospace electronics components, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, assisting with problem-solving and troubleshooting when needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of electronics materials, tools, and equipment required for production.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet project deadlines while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure adherence to established standards and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Train and mentor team members, identifying skill gaps and providing opportunities for professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, drive continuous improvement, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in aerospace composites manufacturing.
  • Approve time cards for employees and maintain scheduling requirements for all staff and approve time off requests in accordance with business needs
  • Schedule and deliver performance reviews and meet regularly with employees to support their needs and provide tasking if required
  • Report regularly to manager or leadership on statuses and department developments
  • All other duties as assigned
