Role purpose Restore non‑conforming printed circuit boards to specification through expert diagnosis, rework, and documentation. Impact you’ll make Execute required quality procedures in the work center; follow Plant Rules and all Factory/Operation specifications. Troubleshoot and rework in‑process and assembly‑line PCB failures using proper ESD controls. Record failure details and accountability in MES; ensure data integrity. Pull and return SMT and through‑hole components from/to designated areas. Disposition PCB assemblies as acceptable or in need of further repair. Escalate operator and process issues to QA personnel and MAS; notify the scheduler, MAS, and QA when failure percentages increase. Partner with Supervision, Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, and Plant Engineering to remove equipment, process, and assembly roadblocks. Cross‑train and share expertise to increase team flexibility.

Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; relentless focus on quality.
  • Proven attendance, safety, and performance record; self‑starter.
  • Experience with production and manufacturing floor control systems.
  • Comfortable with Excel, MS Access, and Word.
  • Soldering proficiency per QC‑306; familiarity with department quality procedures and customer requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally; willingness to rotate shifts as needed.
  • Demonstrated emphasis on safety, workmanship, product quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities
