About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Technician to join our team. As an Electronic Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of electronic devices and systems in various industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, with the ability to assemble, install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment and systems.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or certification in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience as an Electronic Technician or a similar role, with a solid understanding of electronic principles, components, and systems.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic testing equipment, oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering tools, and diagnostic software.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex electronic systems and identify root causes of issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small electronic components and performing intricate tasks.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and procedures to non-technical individuals.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, with the ability to perform precise and accurate work.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow established safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components, circuits, and systems according to technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of electronic equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Inspect and evaluate electronic equipment, components, and systems to identify defects, malfunctions, or areas for improvement.
  • Diagnose and resolve electronic issues using diagnostic tools, test equipment, and specialized software.
  • Replace faulty components, solder connections, and wiring to restore electronic equipment and systems to operational status.
  • Conduct functional and performance testing of electronic devices and systems to verify proper operation and adherence to specifications.
  • Document work performed, including repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities, using electronic records and reports.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other professionals to develop solutions and improvements for electronic systems and equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents and injuries.
