About The Position

Intervala is seeking Electronics Inspectors to inspect Printed Circuit Board parts and assemblies to assure compliance to quality requirements and standards. This role involves a detailed review of PCB components and assemblies, performing acceptance activities according to quality plans, procedures, and instructions. The inspector will perform basic inspections, deferring more complex tasks to senior inspectors, and will rarely work without guidance. Responsibilities also include recording results of acceptance and inspection activities into the MES, supporting the identification and disposition of nonconforming material, and reporting quality problems to appropriate personnel. Adherence to General Requirements of Team Members is expected.

Requirements

  • Beginner level knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Beginner level knowledge ERP and MES systems
  • Knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001
  • Ability to apply and use measuring devices including continuity tester, magnification devices, microscope, eye loop, caliper, micrometer
  • Ability to read and interpret job orders, process sheets, specifications and instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
  • Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a high volume environment
  • Abilities listed in General Requirements of Team Members
  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant job experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in related technical discipline preferred
  • preferably in PCB assembly

Responsibilities

  • Support activities to address identification and disposition of nonconforming material
  • Report quality problems and findings to appropriate personnel
  • Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members
