About The Position

The Electronics Engineer contributes to the design, development, and support of electronic systems and components. Working with cross-functional teams, this role supports product development from concept through production while maintaining reliable and efficient system performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
4–7 years of experience in electronics design or similar role
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium or equivalent)
Familiarity with analog and digital circuit design
Hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting electronic systems
Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and analyzers
Knowledge of RF fundamentals is an asset
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Applicants must hold either a Canadian citizenship, Canadian Permanent Residency, or Work/ Study Permit.

Responsibilities

Develop electronic designs including schematics, PCB layouts, and associated technical drawings
Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies and subsystems
Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as specifications, test procedures, and design records
Assist with component selection, sourcing, and evaluation
Ensure designs meet functional, performance, and manufacturing requirements
Provide ongoing engineering support to production, including investigation and resolution of technical issues
Work with external vendors and suppliers to ensure component quality and accuracy
Support transfer of products from design to manufacturing and ongoing production activities
Contribute to improvement initiatives related to product performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
