About The Position

The Electronics Engineer contributes to the design, development, and support of electronic systems and components. Working with cross-functional teams, this role supports product development from concept through production while maintaining reliable and efficient system performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 4–7 years of experience in electronics design or similar role
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with analog and digital circuit design
  • Hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting electronic systems
  • Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and analyzers
  • Knowledge of RF fundamentals is an asset
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Applicants must hold either a Canadian citizenship, Canadian Permanent Residency, or Work/ Study Permit.

Responsibilities

  • Develop electronic designs including schematics, PCB layouts, and associated technical drawings
  • Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies and subsystems
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as specifications, test procedures, and design records
  • Assist with component selection, sourcing, and evaluation
  • Ensure designs meet functional, performance, and manufacturing requirements
  • Provide ongoing engineering support to production, including investigation and resolution of technical issues
  • Work with external vendors and suppliers to ensure component quality and accuracy
  • Support transfer of products from design to manufacturing and ongoing production activities
  • Contribute to improvement initiatives related to product performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
