About The Position

Everforth ECS is seeking an Electronics Engineer to work at Stennis Space Center, MS. This position will be supporting The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), which is part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS). The NDBC designs, develops, operates, and maintains a network of data collecting buoys and coastal stations. The NDBC is located in southern Mississippi as a tenant at the John C. Stennis Space Center, a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility. This role is an onsite position.

Requirements

  • BS Electrical Engineering.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • 2 years of experience in the design, prototype fabrication, test and debug, and production of microcontroller-based data acquisition instrumentation systems.
  • Familiarity with analog and digital circuitry, hardware/software interface analysis, ground and satellite-linked data communications.
  • Experience reading, understanding, and troubleshooting schematics.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
