GDIT is looking for an Electronics Engineer for our Bethesda, MD location. This role involves performing electrical system design, including printed circuit board design and simulation, and conducting diagnostic testing for troubleshooting. The engineer will also develop software and/or firmware to support hardware communication and testing, conduct routine preventative maintenance, inspection, and hardware rework on various electronic components and assemblies, and generate, update, and maintain comprehensive system documentation, schematics, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Additionally, the role requires preparing and executing component test plans, performing data acquisition, processing, and signal analysis to evaluate hardware performance, and conducting benchtop diagnostic testing, signal analysis, and root-cause analysis and troubleshooting on mixed-signal hardware using standard lab instrumentation.
