As an Electronics Engineer, you'll collaborate with other experienced electronics engineers and cross-functional teams to tackle complex hardware challenges, developing custom circuit boards, integrating hardware, software, and firmware, and integrating commercial and custom electronic components. You’ll perform analyses of current and future technologies, analyze existing designs, including reverse engineering, develop new electrical designs, support prototyping and manufacturing, and conduct testing. Requirements

  • Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) design
  • Experience supporting or conducting test events in laboratory, prototyping, or field environments
  • Experience using common laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, electronic loads, and spectrum analyzers
  • Experience reviewing, interpreting, and analyzing electrical drawings, diagrams, and schematics in a defined process flow
  • Knowledge of basic engineering principles as they apply to hardware design and product development, including electronics, digital computers, computer engineering, power engineering, telecommunications, control systems, robotics, radio frequency engineering, signal processing, instrumentation, and microelectronics
  • Ability to develop technical documentation, including 2D technical drawings or schematics, 3D models, and written technical documentation
  • Ability to collaborate with an integrated product delivery team, including a variety of technical and non-technical teammates
  • Ability to effectively communicate concepts, results, and technical information to internal and external audiences, and technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Altium for PCB design
  • Experience with fabrication, assembly, and integration of electromechanical prototype ground, space, maritime, or other military systems
  • Experience in lab-based developmental testing and test data acquisition
  • Knowledge of programming, including with C or C++
  • Knowledge of the development of embedded systems, including Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) development, firmware development, or hardware or software integration
  • Knowledge of product design for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, and hardware operation and exposure in extreme environments
  • Secret clearance
  • Master's degree
  • EIT or PE Certification
