The Skylark product line is focused on the rapid design, build, and test of cutting-edge active phased array antennas (AESA) for terrestrial and airborne applications. Current programs span high-power, large-scale ground terminals for missile defense to commercial airline and helicopter connectivity solutions. We are looking to add an Electronics Engineer I to our team. In this role, you will contribute to the full lifecycle design and implementation of board-level and system-level electronics hardware for advanced RF communication systems. We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer I who is early in their career and passionate about engineering. This position offers the opportunity to develop core engineering skills while working alongside a highly experienced team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Industry experience in board-level electronics design, analysis, and test.
  • Strong EE fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of adjacent fields, such as software and mechanical.
  • Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, multi meters, or logic analyzers.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to ask questions and implement feedback.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., conditional resident, asylee or refugee (protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Nice To Haves

  • PCB layout experience using tools such as Altium, Cadence, or KiCAD. (Altium preferred)
  • Experience delivering subcircuit or board designs to production and deployment.
  • Own key portions of the end-to-end electronics design process, from concept and architecture through schematic, layout, test, and production.
  • Experience using LTSpice for circuit and/or system level simulations.
  • Experience implementing microcontrollers or FPGAs into designs.
  • Complete analysis such as worst-case circuit analysis, signal integrity analysis, and power integrity analysis.
  • Develop bring-up plans and design verification plans for new circuit elements.
