About The Position

Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is seeking to hire an Electronics/Electrical Engineer. Come join a dynamic team developing custom equipment and other innovative solutions for the Savannah River Site, DOE complex, and National Security missions.

Requirements

• BS + 4-6 yrs of relevant experience or an MS + 3-5 yrs or a PhD + 2-4 yrs.
• US Citizenship is Legally Required for ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, evaluate, and deploy a wide range of custom developed and industry standard electronic hardware.
• Perform hands-on development of hardware and software through a wide array of embedded system platforms.
• Complete tasks autonomously and mentor early career staff.
• Develop, design, fabricate, assemble, test, evaluate, calibrate, and field unique systems, components, and tooling to meet unique technical challenges for end users.
• Deliver results in a safe, responsible, secure, timely, and cost-effective manner.
• Understand and apply advanced knowledge of standard theories, concepts, principles, techniques, and fundamentals in engineering to achieve innovative solutions.
• Scope, plan, organize, communicate, estimate, schedule, and perform technical tasks that provide creative technical solutions and address a variety of challenges with guidance, support, and direction from senior professionals.
