About The Position

Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with an electronics manufacturing company in Lancaster, NY, is seeking a qualified Electronics Assembler/Inspector to join their growing team. This is a long-term position with room for growth.

Requirements

• Must have experience hand soldering SMT and Through hole components.
• Must be able to read component values, bills of materials, work procedures and drawings.
• Must have experience soldering.
• Must have experience.
• Experience in electronic assembly and/or inspection.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of or certification of IPC standards a plus but not required.
• Will at times work under magnification.

Responsibilities

• Assemble various electronic products including but not limited to printed circuit boards and wire cables.
• Use tools to make or repair parts and products.
• Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
• Work under microscope or maglight.
• Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
• Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
• Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures.
• Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
