This specific role is an on-site position at their Fitchburg, MA location. The Electronics Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and maintaining electronic components and sub-assemblies for high-quality products. This role demands precision, adherence to detailed work instructions, and a commitment to producing quality, reliable assemblies under close supervision.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with minimum 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Soldering experience required.
- Proficient with microscopes, test equipment (multimeters, and similar), and soldering techniques.
- Basic knowledge of electronic assembly concepts and procedures.
- Must possess sufficient English reading, writing, and comprehension skills to understand written procedures, verbal instructions, and safety information and work under supervision.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3) due to ITAR and/or CUI compliance.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a manufacturing industry preferred.
- IPC certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
- Use microscopes, measuring tools, and electronic test equipment to meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret work instructions, schematics, and assembly processes to ensure accurate builds.
- Perform soldering, wiring, and use hand and pneumatic tools (tweezers, cutters, torque drivers, and similar).
- Maintain accurate production data and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstation in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members and across departments to support continuous improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
