Requirements

High School diploma or GED
0-2 years of experience in assembly or electronics
Quick learner able to adapt to new tasks and processes
Capable of moving items up to 10 pounds
Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

IPC-610 and J-STD 001 certifications
Class 2-level soldering capability
Precision assembly work under a microscope
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
Effective team collaboration and interpersonal skills
Skilled at interpreting written instructions and drawings
Strong customer service mindset
Experience with metric-based manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

Assemble and solder electronic components following detailed diagrams, drawings, and instructions
Perform tasks such as circuit card assembly, BGA rework, microelectronics assembly, electromechanical builds, and cable harness fabrication
Conduct continuity checks on in-process and finished work
Operate production equipment like soldering stations, crimp tools, microscopes, and ovens safely
Inspect work to ensure compliance with company and industry standards, identifying and reworking nonconformances
Accurately record production data in shop floor systems and quality records
Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and supervisors to resolve issues and improve processes
Uphold safety, ESD, FOD, and cleanliness standards in the work area
Complete in-house workmanship training for continued employment
