About The Position

Retlif Testing Laboratories is hiring a full-time Electronic Test Technician for its Goffstown, New Hampshire laboratory. The technician prepares samples and test setups, executes tests according to detailed procedures, documents results, follows quality policies and procedures, and interacts with customers. The role offers pay of $22–$28 per hour, depending on experience, and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime may be necessary at times depending on customer needs. Retlif Testing Laboratories is an independent testing laboratory that provides compliance testing and engineering services to industries including aerospace, rail, maritime, military, defense, and medical. Its services include electromagnetic compatibility, radio approval, product safety, and environmental simulation testing to national and international standards.

Requirements

Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electronics, a trade school certificate, or equivalent formal military training or work experience.
Working knowledge of electronics measurement equipment, specifically DMM, oscilloscope, and spectrum analyzer.
Knowledge of basic electrical fundamentals, including Ohm’s Law and AC wiring.
Background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret Clearance, including U.S. citizenship.
Strong math and logic skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and bend, lift, and twist.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

Experience with equipment qualification testing and associated certification schemes.
Five years of working experience with electronics.
Working knowledge of RF systems and/or electronics.
Background in MIL-STD-461, RTCA/DO-160, and/or IEC test standards.
