About The Position
AER Technologies, Inc. is seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our success-driven Production team. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible to conduct a variety of electronic, mechanical and electromechanical tests and perform detailed troubleshooting root cause analysis on instrument cluster repairs to ensure the product functions per company and manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years’ experience in the diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of electronic circuitry
- Be able to work with team members and follow guidelines
- Ability to work on fine-pitch components where tight precision soldering is required.
- Be knowledgeable about common electronic and electro-mechanical components and be able to assist in the selection and procurement of parts and materials.
- Ability to read and work from electronic schematics.
- Able to use a DVM, Oscilloscope, and other technical equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Understanding of ESD practices.
Nice To Haves
- Certifications in J-Standard 001/ IPC-A-610
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electronic circuitries down to the component level.
- Perform mechanical and electronic assembly of products including hand soldering on circuit board assemblies using written instructions, schematic specifications, and industry standards.
