About The Position

The Electronic Technician Maintenance II position supports the Army Warfighter Training & Readiness Solutions (WTRS) contract. Requirements

  • B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, Master’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology and 1 years of experience, Or 6+ Years of Experience in lieu of Degree.
  • Intermediate computer and networking skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and On-Post driving privileges.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic WTRS and equipment for Advanced Gunnery Training System (AGTS), Bradley Conduct of Fire (COFT), TTT, FMT DTT CLASSROOM, MRAP-MTS-AFSS & MRAP-MTS-ISS.
  • Utilize spare/repair parts to address faults and perform preventative maintenance in accordance with technical guidelines.
  • Research and select necessary repair parts.
  • Enter work order data accurately and timely into the online management information system.
  • Apply technical knowledge to solve routine electrical, mechanical, and computer issues by interpreting manufacturers' manuals and schematic drawings.
  • Perform inventory of spare/repair parts in accordance with contractual guidelines.
  • Ensure all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide technical support and training to system operators.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS Locations.
