Requirements

Journeyman electrical license (required)
Must be able to work nights

Nice To Haves

5+ years of working with electrical/electronic equipment in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
Strong knowledge of packaging, liquid and powder processing (preferred)
An understanding of maintenance best practices, safety, quality, cost, HACCP, GMP and regulatory compliance (preferred).
Strong analytical and people skills are necessary in this position.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and planned maintenance jobs as requested by Shift Maintenance supervisor, Production Supervisor, Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Planner.
Maintaining and repairing the electrical network and devices of the facility.
Maintaining and repairing of lighting systems of the facility
Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses with other maintenance team members to repair said malfunction.
Replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, and positions sensing devices.
Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
Active participation in planned plant shut downs to determine the electrical maintenance requirements of systems and devices within the facility.
