About The Position

Five Rivers Analytics is seeking an Electronic Technician IV to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK. This role involves providing technical support services for designated equipment, including troubleshooting, repair, refurbishment, assembly, testing, and installation. The technician will work with various electronic systems, subsystems, and components to ensure they meet serviceability, reliability, and availability requirements. Tasks may include designing test fixtures, analyzing equipment performance, collecting data, and performing installations in accordance with FAA and FAALC standards.

Requirements

A minimum of four years of practical experience in an electronic technician support position is required.
Experience must include troubleshooting, repairing, assembling, testing, and installing electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
An associate degree in electrical or engineering technology, or completion of equivalent formal technical training courses, is required.
Knowledge is required in assisting in producing, reviewing, revising, and interpreting technical documents.
Knowledge is required in assisting in designing, fabricating, assembling, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, subsystems, components, test fixtures, and prototypes.
Knowledge is required in developing and performing equipment and component adjustment, test, and certification processes and in installing equipment and modifications.
Experience assisting in developing, reviewing, and updating engineering documentation and processes utilizing necessary soldering, tools, and test equipment.
Specialized knowledge of FAA systems, equipment, procedures, and operations is highly desired.
Due to the limitations of fall-protection gear, the minimum weight for an applicant is 125 pounds and the maximum weight is 290 pounds.
The position requires travel up to 70% and may entail emergency callouts for corrective maintenance as required.
Must be capable of moderate lifting and carrying of 50 pounds, straight pushing and pulling, reaching above the shoulders, using the fingers and both hands, walking, standing, repeated bending, climbing, crawling, and kneeling.
Both eyes are required, with depth perception and the ability to distinguish basic colors and shades of colors.
Hearing is required; a hearing aid is permitted.
NACI Clearance - ability to obtain Public Trust.
May be required to obtain additional background investigation clearance for inter-agency support.
A valid driver's license is required.
Must possess TWO forms of unexpired identification to meet eligibility requirements.
One Primary form of government-issued identification, selected from the following: Valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or state-issued ID card. U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Transportation ID Card. U.S. Passport or U.S. Passport Card. Permanent Resident Card (Form I-551). Responsibilities

Perform NAVAID antenna and component repair and overhaul.
Perform rotary joint and drive motor troubleshooting and repair.
Perform circuit board testing and repair.
Perform production and repair of electronic cables and wire harnesses.
Perform equipment performance analyses and information collection and reporting.
Perform equipment adjustment, testing, and certification.
Perform installation of equipment and components and modifications.
Perform installation and maintenance of NAS radomes.
Perform structural inspection of towers and tower components at heights in excess of 50 feet, but not to exceed 750 feet.
Perform maintenance on the inside and outside of tower structures at heights in excess of 50 feet, but not to exceed 750 feet. Labor includes, but is not limited to, installation, removal, and maintenance of communication antennae, surveillance systems, safety wire, tower guy wire pull-off shackles, and tower obstruction lighting systems.
Attend all training classes as required to maintain sufficient knowledge of repair procedures for all systems, including all safety-related courses.
Work independently to perform Preventive Maintenance (PMs) on FAA and interagency systems in accordance with local and FAA policies and procedures.
Work independently to perform Corrective Maintenance (CMs) on FAA and interagency systems in accordance with local and FAA policies and procedures.
Perform troubleshooting of electronic/electromechanical systems to include fault isolation, removal, and replacement of failed Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) required to return the system to full operational capability. Training, procedures, and guidance will be provided.
Prepare FAA and interagency assets for shipment to and from field sites, vendor locations, and/or the Federal Aviation Administration Logistics Center (FAALC).
Enter time into the Data Collection and Reporting System (DCRS) daily to ensure timely billing of hours.
Accurately enter and maintain all travel-related information in the AJW-L500 Travel Tracker Smartsheet database. All entries shall be completed in a timely manner, in accordance with applicable agency policies, and kept current to reflect any changes or updates to travel plans. Ensure the data entered is complete, accurate, and compliant with reporting requirements established by AJW-L500.
Keep crew leads informed of assigned tasks and status.
Perform tower climbing and work at heights in excess of 50 feet.
Perform corrosion control and prevention.
Operate equipment such as boom man lifts and motorized forklifts.
Work from ropes at heights.
Install electronic and mechanical systems and components on NAS and interagency systems.
Assist the crew lead with workload scheduling and planning.
Meet with internal customers and coordinate with external customers regarding projects.
Assist junior technicians with technical tasks and provide on-the-job training as required.
Assist the crew lead in project package reviews and provide feedback to internal customers.
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for the work center and keep the Project Manager informed of daily operations, work status, and emerging concerns.
Promptly report safety concerns, personnel issues, work stoppages, equipment problems, customer concerns, and other matters requiring management awareness or action.
Maintain regular communication with the Project Manager and provide accurate, timely updates regarding staffing, workload, schedules, project progress, and operational issues.
Elevate unresolved or recurring issues to the Project Manager and provide the information necessary to support timely resolution.
