About The Position

Leads electronic maintenance activities, including resourcing and training other technicians. Performs scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on TADSS (e.g., RVCT, STE, and GFP) using technical manuals, PM checklists, or industry best practices when checklists are unavailable. Provides the government with maintenance timelines for staffed and unstaffed sites, including notifications for required travel and surge support. Deconflicts maintenance with training, exercises, and testing. Records all maintenance actions in real time in MAXIMO. Ensures compliance with warranty terms by tracking items by part number, serial number, and location. Sets up and tests TADSS and STE devices to verify proper operation and interoperability. Monitors hardware baselines and recommends corrective actions when updates fail. Analyzes maintenance trends, tracks parts consumption, manages obsolescence, applies risk management, and conducts failure analysis to reduce risk and improve reliability. Manages configuration control for all maintenance on TADSS, STE, and GFP. Installs modifications and upgrade kits in accordance with manufacturer instructions. May serve as a preventive maintenance rover for unstaffed sites. May install and maintain software and hardware for applications and operating systems. Supports three primary missions: Steady-State Training Support – Assists Soldiers in planning exercises in TMT, aligning training equipment and RVCT modules, and initializing/troubleshooting the RVCT network. During execution, provides over-the-shoulder training and exercise control functions (e.g., roleplay, intelligence reporting). Point of Need Training – Oversees preparation, shipment, transportation, setup, initialization, and troubleshooting of RVCT modules and associated equipment at the Point of Need and at the home site after redeployment. Provides over-the-shoulder support during execution. Surge Support – Temporarily shifts personnel from other locations to support high-demand training events (up to 28 RVCT modules or two companies) at a given site.

Requirements

  • 2-year associate degree in Electronics related field or Electronic Technicians Association (ETA) Basic Electronics Certification IAW ISO 17024 standards or Possess a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in a related discipline.
  • 5 + years with MA/MS or 8 yrs with BA/BS or 10+years with Associates or 14+years with no degree.
  • Secret or the ability to obtain a secret within 6 months of hire

  • STE Device knowledge preferred.
