The Electronic Technician III will be programming and troubleshooting of control systems that include PLCs, servo drives, AC drives, interface modules, DC Drives, and HMIs. Also included are mechanical skills that will allow for assistance in mechanical repairs and preventative and predictive maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with control systems and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Associate’s degree in maintenance related field or 10 years maintenance experience with a High School diploma or GED.
  • CMMS (MP2 preferred), PLCs (GE & Allen Bradley), Servo Controls, Drives, HMIs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Lean Mfg. experience preferred.
  • Mechanical background.

Responsibilities

  • Programming and troubleshooting of control systems that include PLCs, servo drives, AC drives, interface modules, DC Drives, and HMIs.
  • Assistance in mechanical repairs and preventative and predictive maintenance tasks.
  • Read, redline, and create electrical drawings.
  • Lead projects and/or work groups.
  • Make sound decisions and use problem-solving tools.
  • Multi-task.
  • Coordinate projects and communicate results.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects following the change management procedures.
  • Support projects for the electronics group.
