About The Position

Indotronix is seeking an Electronic Technician 2 for an onsite job in Warner Robins, GA. The work schedule is 9x80 A. No security clearance is required. Under close supervision, this role performs routine technical functions related to the support of development engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electronics and Electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models or specialized test equipment. Applications may include analog, digital and/or video type circuits and logic systems. Guidance is readily available from superiors. The technician works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform routine testing, checkout, troubleshooting, prototype building, environmental testing, and simple developmental engineering tasks. They perform routine operational tests and fault isolation on development systems and equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications, diagnosing and isolating malfunctions down to component level. The role also involves conducting defined engineering tests and collecting data as assigned, utilizing routine development or diagnostic equipment including oscilloscope, VOM, DVM, signal generators and similar test apparatus. This position is normally assigned in areas such as development, engineering, test equipment design, or the like, and excludes those assigned to production test activities.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Electronics-related field or Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in Electronics related position, with 5+ years of relevant electronics experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
  • Familiarity with Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeter (DMM) or similar test equipment
  • Self–starter with ability to work with little to no supervision.
  • Work well in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) in a lab environment
  • Fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies
  • Fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting of Cable assemblies
  • Testing and tuning microwave assemblies
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting Electronic Warfare systems
  • Soldering experience and certification to IPC-J-STD

Responsibilities
