Requirements
- Deep knowledge of instrumentation and electrical systems.
- 120VAC and 24VDC.
- Must have ability to operate small hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and electrical schematics.
- Ability to work independently and safely.
- Ability to work with electrical / mechanical devices.
- Ability to work well with others and be part of the team.
- Ability to follow instructions and describe, document work performed.
- Knowledge and application on use of voltmeter and oscilloscope.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Soldering techniques and Ethernet cable assembly a plus.
- Plumbing installation/fabrication skills: threaded pipe, flared tubing, compression fittings
Responsibilities
- Assembly and integration of electrical and mechanical components to create operational systems employing the following skills.
- Connection techniques: Wire stripping, connector crimping, soldering, splicing
- Wiring installation: Conduit and EMT work, i.e. bending, threading
- Circuit testing, wiring verification: DMM use, i.e. Ac & Dc voltage measurement, Resistance measurement
- Mounting enclosures
- Run conduit/EMT to and from enclosures
- Pull cables through conduit
- Mount electrical devices within enclosures
