The Electronic Security Technician supports the organization’s physical security program by installing, programming, maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting IP-based electronic security systems in commercial and financial-services environments. This position is responsible for ensuring reliable operation, proper configuration, and continued performance of video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, alarm monitoring and intercom systems across assigned facilities. This role serves as a hands-on technical resource for security technology needs, including system diagnostics, field hardware performance, software programming, device connectivity, preventive maintenance, and service documentation. The technician is expected to evaluate issues efficiently, resolve service needs with minimal disruption, and communicate professionally with internal partners, branch personnel, vendors, and leadership. The Electronic Security Technician contributes to a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, facilities and organizational assets by ensuring security systems are maintained in accordance with internal standards, applicable laws and regulations, manufacturer specifications and bank policies and procedures. This position requires sound judgment, professionalism, confidentiality, and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
