About The Position

Evergreen Fire and Security (EFS) is seeking an experienced low-voltage Electronic Security Systems Technician based in Fort Hood, Texas, who also enjoys traveling. This role involves serving as a field representative responsible for installing, testing, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various electronic security systems and network infrastructures. EFS is a leader in life safety and security solutions, protecting critical infrastructure and information for federal government and commercial clients.

Requirements

• Willing to travel 50% or more
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience maintaining ESS systems
• Must have field experience installing and servicing systems to include programming and network connectivity
• Great customer service skills
• Effective communication skills
• A positive attitude
• Possesses a Secret Clearance
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, and driving history)
• Valid driver’s license
• U.S. citizenship

• Prior experience working on government contracts or military bases

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects
• Serves as the face of Evergreen to our customers onsite by providing top-notch service and product training
• Ensures safety through compliance with relevant State and Federal regulations
• Collaborates with in-house Evergreen teams to improve installations
• Reads and comprehends blueprints, project instructions, and company forms
• Installs conduit as necessary
• Travels as necessary
• Maintains confidentiality
• Completes all other duties assigned within qualifications
