We are seeking a Security Project Manager to lead a team of Security technicians and subcontractors installing ACS, IDS, CCTV, intercom, and other low voltage systems for clients in Northern Virginia. The Project Manager will coordinate and oversee multiple projects simultaneously with the help of local engineering, sales, and technical staff. The ideal candidate will take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring robust communication with customers and the team to meet all stakeholder expectations. The Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple projects, reporting job status, schedule updates, risk mitigation steps, changes, and material needs throughout the project lifecycle. The PM will lead a team of Senior/Lead Techs, Jr Techs, and subcontractors. Applicants must have Property Technology Security backgrounds.

Requirements

Property Technology Security backgrounds required.
Previous project management in electronic security systems field.
Ability to lead and mentor a team.
Strong communication skills (within i2G team, with customers, and subcontractors).
Ability to read and understand security system drawings.
Familiarity with electrical and civil drawing packages.
Experience managing integration engineers that program electronic security systems (access control, intrusion detection, CCTV).
Must be able to pass a background check.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proficient with scheduling software such as MS Project, SimPro, or Smartsheets.
Proficient with Microsoft Windows.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have a valid driver's license.
5+ Years previous experience with electronic security systems required.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of Lenel, Verint, Axis, Commend, Fire systems, and/or DMP is a plus.
Direct experience with Lenel, Axis, Software House, Verint training certifications highly desired but not required.
Training and Certifications in the above product lines.
PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain project equipment inventory.
Red-line drawings.
Ensure quality.
Assist with creating proposals.
