Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent technical training
- 3+ years of experience in electronic security systems, low-voltage systems, or related technical fields
- Knowledge of low-voltage wiring, installation practices, and industry standards
- Ability to read and follow project drawings, specifications, and installation instructions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide and safely use basic hand tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Ability to obtain a federal government security clearance
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Must pass background screening requirements
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting federal government projects or agencies
- Military technical experience or honorable military service
- OSHA certification
- Manufacturer certifications or experience with Lenel, Avigilon, Software House, Milestone, or similar platforms
- Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience
Responsibilities
- Install low-voltage cabling for Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, and intercom systems
- Install and terminate copper and fiber-optic cabling infrastructure
- Install and configure electronic security equipment, control panels, devices, and supporting hardware
- Install head-end equipment, including servers, NVRs, DVRs, Ethernet switches, and related network equipment
- Properly mount cameras, enclosures, displays, power supplies, switches, and associated equipment
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and corrective actions
- Follow project drawings, specifications, and installation standards
- Complete assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and with a high level of quality
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate daily project progress
- Safeguard company tools, equipment, and materials
- Participate in safety meetings and follow all company safety requirements
- Travel to project sites and support installations nationwide as needed
