About The Position

Electrical Engineering candidate willing to be a part of a dynamic electronic repair facility supporting manufacturing equipment. The purpose of the job is to repair, upgrade, modify, or verify sub components of a wide variety of complex automatic/logic controlled electronic or electro-mechanical equipment at a component level.

Requirements

• In the process of completing BS Electrical Engineering Degree with a focus on electronics
• Capable of working on projects without supervision
• Fundamental knowledge of AC and DC electronics
• Root cause problem solving skills
• Collaborative thinker
• Organized - project management
• Ability to effectively communicate findings, train others, and write documents

Nice To Haves

• Setting up, operating and adjusting complex instrumentation
• Knowledge of analog, digital, and RF electronics
• Moderate circuit design abilities
• High level of mechanical ability (i.e. considerable knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and fluidics, and safe working procedures)

Responsibilities

• Using advanced diagnostic techniques
• Improvising circuits or equipment to special needs
• Working independently on assigned projects
• Performing complex analysis of major malfunctions to the component level
• Performing calibrations traceable to the National Bureau of Standards
