About The Position

Compiles, scans, processes, and maintains medical records in accordance with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements. Processes all requests for confidential patient information. Adheres to guidelines that pertain to releasing confidential patient information and drug and alcohol abuse, as well as all HIPAA laws. Performs system checks on the EMPI data and maintains accuracy of healthcare data through chart corrections. Works with providers regarding record analysis to ensure completeness of records.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Six months of prior relevant experience preferred
