Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Instrumentation from a recognized Technical School.
  • At least three years of experience troubleshooting industrial process control instrumentation and managing calibration systems.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts: three weeks on the first shift (6:00 am-2:30 pm) and one week on the second shift (2:30 pm-10:30 pm), Monday to Friday.
  • At least one year of experience in distributed process control systems.
  • Occasionally lift objects up to 65 pounds or move them horizontally.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, diagnose, and repair electronic and pneumatic instrumentation throughout the plant, ensuring proper functioning and replacing equipment as needed.
  • Execute and administer the calibration program, including coordinating equipment and external services, documenting results, and ensuring compliance with internal and external audits.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation according to established schedules and record all activities in the corresponding electronic systems.
  • Recommend, acquire, install, and validate new instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with electrical standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Train personnel on the proper use of equipment, report risks or failures, maintain organized work areas under 5S standards, and participate in problem-solving teams.
