Requirements

Associate's Degree in Instrumentation from a recognized Technical School.
At least three years of experience troubleshooting industrial process control instrumentation and managing calibration systems.
Ability to work rotating shifts: three weeks on the first shift (6:00 am-2:30 pm) and one week on the second shift (2:30 pm-10:30 pm), Monday to Friday.
At least one year of experience in distributed process control systems.
Occasionally lift objects up to 65 pounds or move them horizontally.

Responsibilities

Maintain, diagnose, and repair electronic and pneumatic instrumentation throughout the plant, ensuring proper functioning and replacing equipment as needed.
Execute and administer the calibration program, including coordinating equipment and external services, documenting results, and ensuring compliance with internal and external audits.
Perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation according to established schedules and record all activities in the corresponding electronic systems.
Recommend, acquire, install, and validate new instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with electrical standards and manufacturer specifications.
Train personnel on the proper use of equipment, report risks or failures, maintain organized work areas under 5S standards, and participate in problem-solving teams.
