We are seeking an Electronic Imaging Technician to join our team and play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of computers is required.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in Radiology and PACS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients and other professionals.
• Greet, receive, and direct customers for various activities throughout the department.
• Respond to customer needs and communicate special needs to the appropriate technologist.
• Operate imaging file room equipment and perform clerical functions.
• Access reports, images, and other patient data via EPIC, PACS, or other related software systems.
• Fulfill requests for images by utilizing PowerShare or copying exams to a CD.
• Utilize a CD burner to import images and send to PACS.
• Ensure necessary images are available for surgical procedures.
• Provide clinical information to requesting physicians/offices within HIPAA guidelines.
