Job Description Summary Electrical Engineer experienced in analog, digital, and mixed‑signal electronics, low‑power system design, and PCBA development. Proficient in translating requirements into reliable hardware solutions and supporting bring‑up, debug, and verification. Collaborative contributor with working knowledge of C, C#, and Python and exposure to RF design.

Requirements

  • Low-Power and Battery-Powered Systems
  • PCBA Schematic Capture and Layout (Altium)
  • Hardware Bring-Up, Debug, and Validation
  • Power, Signal Integrity, EMI/EMC Fundamentals
  • DFM / DFT
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Power regulation and distribution
  • MCU‑based designs (Atmel, Microchip, STMicro)
  • Hardware interfaces (RS‑232/485, I²C, CAN)
  • Motor control and feedback interfaces
  • Battery management systems
  • C, C#, Python
  • Typically 8-10+ years of relevant experience
  • Designed and owned complex PCBAs from concept through production
  • Led board bring‑up, debug, and validation
  • Supported technical decisions related to power, signal integrity, EMI, and reliability
  • Participated in design reviews and mentored junior engineers
  • Supported manufacturing ramp up and sustainment
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field (M.S. a plus)
  • Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a “US Person” (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees)
  • Full‑time, exempt position
  • Office and laboratory environment with occasional field or test‑site work
  • Limited travel for testing, vendor engagement, or program support

Nice To Haves

  • RF layout, antennas, and wireless systems (Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, Iridium, Argos/Kenesis – experience a plus)
  • FPGA fundamentals
